Practiced public accounting for 30 years in the Irmo community. Was the controller for two small businesses for 4 years. Majored in accounting and finance at the university of South Carolina.

Personal Statement:

Born in South Bend, Indiana, my family moved frequently while my dad served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. Once retired, we settled in the Irmo community during my senior year of high school. I met my wife at USC and have now been married for 40 years. We have two grown daughters and a granddaughter. During my daughters’ high school years, they enjoyed participating in community theatre where I often served as stage crew. This experience gave me an appreciation for the arts. We recently moved from Irmo to the Wildewood community to be closer to one of our daughters and her family. My interests include spending time with my family, reading, and golfing.
